1st Stop: Taipei Main Station

Timetable of the trains.
Taipei Main Station
Once we reached taipei main station, it was already 7 pm. We quickly go buy the tickets and crossed our fingers that we get seat for the train if not we couldn't make it for hualien in time. Good thing when we reached there, there are one with 7.30, 7.50 and 8 something one ( the timing i really don't remember but its around there). Before that the one hour bus ride from taoyuan to taipei was very funny. I didn't mean the ride was funny, the bus driver was funny. He was like a live weather and traffic reporter. He was talking to his friend on the phone but he was quite loud that i heard him saying even when i am sleeping. He describe the cars and people on the streets like ants and since it was raining, everyone was using emergency lights, so he describe them as fireflies. haha funny right. He seems to exaggerate everything he saw and heard. At some point of time, i was imagining that there might be having typhoon anytime even though the rain is as heavy as malaysia one only. LOL.

Okay back to the buying tickets in taipei main station. Apparently the 7.30 one we could make it. and the 730 one we can't board on it because standing tickets are not allowed due to more bumpier train. So we only can get the 8 something train ride and that means we will reach hualien very very late. Thank goodness that my ah jie min su doesn't mind and still willing to pick us up late night. Since we can't get into the earlier train, so we end up finding food, we are so hungry. I bought 3 breads and a drink because all the food there are quite costly i think because it is either fast food or a set meal which is quite big in portion and i just want to have something that can be eaten fast to clear the hungriness.

The three breads bought in the train station was quite yummy. but the one in the picture seems to be a little bit too sweet due to the amount of raisins in the bread itself. Raisins overload. The milktea was also very sweet more milk than tea. haha. Since there are limited seats as we bought it last minute so we are sitting in separate places. We lucky draw for the seats. See how democratic we are. haha to prevent unwanted commotions. The train ride is around three hours plus plus to reach hualien. Hualien is the last stop i think.

Eating bread in the train. Yums!

The train was fun though. There got people selling food. I thought train cannot eat food but i guess this is a long travelling train that's why. Hai~ they should have told me, then i won't be drinking my whole drink so fast in order to get into train. when i sat in my place, i saw beside me, there is a lady eating mee. LOL. The train also have a place where you can fill ur water bottle. There is also toilet located in some of the compartments. Nice. When is our KTM  have this kind of nice service. I know they have toilet, wonder do they sell food? haha. There are also someone that frequently pass by to collect rubbish. Time to time, there will be a train officer to check on our tickets too. It was a pleasant trip. too bad i can't sleep even though i am tired. Just too excited i suppose since just step on the land of taiwan!
