My first gavel meeting!!!!!

Okay Let's talk from the booth setting up First... OMG its tiring lor.... but at least the first orientation and the first three months' booth thingy already ended...hai~ dunno what will happen during the next booth setting up lor...first setting up booth already used up my energy, brain cells, i think also my courage ... my fren was lucky tat she escape the thing that needs her courage too..good for her..but over for me liao...hope it would not happen again...hehe...(the thing is secret cos i dun wan to think about it liao..haha)

i think the first gavel meeting is considered okay at least everything goes well and also 10 person appeared although one left early and one came late a bit...haha... that day the booth thing we also got 12 jc1 sign up...wat a great effort we had put n lor n all thanks to layhao ..haha...we had tried very hard to encourage ppl to sign up u noe...woah ...many ppl once heard that the club trains public speaking skills ...they wanted to run lor...but thank god the 12 ppl still sign up.... On that meeting we had ice breakers games which is the corrected version of ' concentration' in which we are suppose to say ppl's name instead of numbers...then we also played bingo in which we incorporated the table topics into the game....n they were given prizes when they won a straight line n do u noe wat the girls' team WON!!! then One of the gavel members gave her speech too...and sb did her evaluation too...Then we all sat in a circle and talk and eat and drink...wow i realised this batch of students love to talk unlike our batch who will keep their mouth shut unless ppl force them to talk...haha...they are more sociable n love to interact..they ask those questions are quite tough n my exco member was stunned...n in the end i had to answer for them ...i had to act proffessional ...haha...but then i noe my grammar was wrong in one of the sentences i spoke haha....i tried to cover my fear....n nervousness to answer thier questions...i had to answer as i am the president...i had no choice...i am glad that i answered them welll...haha...i am proud...
in the end of the meeting , we realised that one of the jc 1 is from mjc ....wow...i was shocked..haha..but she enjoyed the meeting..i was glad n i asked her to come again if she wanted to....haha..it makes me feel great...
i was a bit scared n not relli looking forward for the next meeting cos there will be new jc2s coming in....although most of them are my freens...i think known ppl are more scarier than strangers...haha...i dunno y...mb i will see them always so scared that i will be embarassed on tat day...
